Privacy Policy
Sunday Paper is designed around private, on-device recordkeeping and sharing that you control.
Information you enter or create
Sunday Paper handles puzzle answers, solve state, hints, checks, revealed letters, streaks, trophies, completion history, selected difficulty, onboarding choices, and local settings that are created while you use the app.
Local-first storage
Puzzle progress and preferences are stored on your device. Sunday Paper does not require an account, developer-operated backend, advertising profile, or third-party analytics service.
Football content and sources
The app includes football-history clue content and source references. Opening an external source link may send you to a third-party website governed by that site’s privacy practices.
Apple services and purchases
Apple processes App Store downloads, Sunday Paper+ purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and restores. Sunday Paper receives entitlement status needed to unlock purchased features.
Your choices
You can continue with free puzzles, manage Sunday Paper+ through your Apple Account, avoid opening external links, and remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.
Retention and deletion
On-device records remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app and its local data. Exported copies remain wherever you chose to save or share them and must be deleted from those destinations separately.
Children
Sunday Paper is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated backend. A parent or guardian should supervise any information kept on a child’s device or profile.
Policy changes
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated. Material changes will be described where required by the app or App Store listing.
